Gib Carter is a Tanzanian electronic and pop music artist and music producer. Gib Carter, the stage name of Gibson, has been a recognisable name in the EDM and pop scene since 2017 and has released several well-known singles of Dala Dala , Sawala and Ibe

Gib Carter grew up as a classically trained choir master and learned to play the guitar at an early age. He studied electrical engineering at the Dar Es Salaam Institute of Technology where he took much of his leisure time in his studio to work on music.
