ERNIS (Artist Biography, Lyrics and Albums)

A 27-year-old woman, writer and slam artist, Ernis is an artist who is interested in questions of: the intergenerational transmission of knowledge in Bamileke country and identity. His writing (books) and his slams constitute a form of attempt at reconciliation between peoples and their histories. She does not hesitate to deal with poignant subjects such as traditional and modern polygamy in Bamileke countries, the chieftaincy and its powers, matriacat and independence, to bring others into her world. She has an intuitive and spontaneous writing.
Winner of the national literary competition for young authors of Cameroon, 2017 editions, she is also the author of a play published by "Elite d'Afrique Editions". She is also from the first batch of French-speaking writers and feminists from the African Women Development Fund. She has participated in several projects of the French Institute of Cameroon, including La nuit des Idées (2020, 2021), Talk: From writing to the stage with Blick Bassy, ​​Capitaine Alexandre and Jessica. She also participated in the masterclass of Souza and the days and nights of poetry, project of the MAM Foundation, with Hemley Boum, Gauz, Capitain Alexandre, Gaëlle Faye, Rodney Saint-Eloi
