MEILI (Artist Biography, Lyrics and Albums)

Merveille Mugisha, better known as Meili, is a female singer from Burundi. Born and bread in Burundi, more precisely in Quartier 3 in Ngagara, she started her carreer in Burundi in 2010 and was part of the Seraphim Songs Gospel music group. She later moved to China to pursue university studies where she won se won many music contests. In 2019, Meili won the 1st prize in the "Song" category of the Foreign Talent Association in Nanjing. Meili's style includes Afropop, RnB, Kizomba, Afrobeats and Dancehall. Meili has collaborations with renowned artists including the title "Insolites" by Burundian rapper B Face, which allows him to make himself known.

Her first official single titled "Dukate" was released in 2021.
