WHOLLA (Artist Biography, Lyrics and Albums)

Jondix Wholla real name John Awala Okumu is a hiphop and dancehall music artist and an executive producer from Kenya. He was born and raised in Nairobi County at Dagoreti, Constituency. Jondix Wholla started music back in high school for the sake of entertaining his colleges, and it was around this time that he started to absorb electronic trap music. He debuted his musical journey in 2015 releasing single hit “Style Ya Me” .The track received an overwhelming positive response despite being done and performed in Kiswahili. The following year, He recorded about 3 tracks that entailed of “Fly High” , “Zusha ” a collabo with Denvah Yoh and “Furaha” which is a gospel dancehall oriented material. In 2017 He did a video of his single hit “Kata boy” this one  went viral on social media and YouTube and he became very popular. The positive response  from fans, friends and family motivated him to work even harder, after doing The “zipande” and “Other one” videos, he went on and did more tracks including “Bado Naishi” and “Wameseeh”. He released his first album “Outside the Box” in 2018. He has continued to excel in music and even featured in the Freestyle Fridays, Drill Cypher by "Utawezana" record producer Ricco Beats.
