Godfrey Lungu popularly known by his stage name as GODDY (Goddy Zambia) is a fast rising Afrobeats singer, rapper, songwriter, & music producer based in Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. He is currently signed under Favour Music, a subsidiary of HNM.Inc. Goddy was born and brought up in a Christian home. He started out his music career in 2012 as a gospel rapper. He drew inspiration from both his parents who were part of the church choral group. Goddy first did his music in Nsenga, a local dialect mostly spoken in the Eastern part of Zambia. He later transitioned to doing music in Chewa - a language he learnt from reading the chewa bible.
