FRESH PRINCE (Artist Biography, Lyrics and Albums)

Fresh Prince, whose real name is Adewale Damilola, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, born and bred up in the Agege neighbourhood. He started as a member of music group from Agege, called YSG before going solo.  Adewale Damilola  started with the stage name Dhammy before changing to Fresh Prince in 2014.  He grew up listening to Fela Kuti, Sean Paul, Ebenezer Obey, Pasuma, Sunny Ade and West Life. Fresh Prince’s music is a fusion of Fuji, RnB, Dancehall and Afro-Pop.

His first single “They Love the Way” featuring 9ice was released in 2012. The same year, he also released  “Jo Bi Okoto” Dhammy.  In 2014, he changed his stage name to Fresh Prince and released “Rumor”, then “NUTENDO” featuring Dammy Krane.
In 2017, he dropped two singles “All Time Spender” and “Bad Girl” featuring Skiibii, both tracks produced by Bazetubeatz, under Gifted Hands Records. In 2019, Fresh Prince won  the#JokoChallenge intiated by Korede Bello.
In November 2019, he was recruited into Mr Eazi Program emPawa Africa and released the single “Sorry” in August 2020.
