Awa Imani is an recording artist, Pop/rnb singer of Guinean and Senegalese origin. Awa Imani was born on February 28, 1987 in Paris from artists parents; Her father is a singer and dance teacher and her mother is a comedian and also a dance teacher. She was therefore immersed in the artistic universe from childhood. At the age of 3, she took part in various projects as a child model, including an advertising campaign for Bénéton. She took piano lessons at the Paris Conservatory and also practices African dance with her parents, before moving to more modern dances at the age of 9. At 12, she started accompanying her father as a chorister. At the age of 15 she met the composer Tommy Djibz  and recorded her first songs.

His first album titled “Rien n'est acquis” was released in 2012. Awa Imani has several hit singles iso far including "Joli garçon", « "C’est le sang" featuring Alrima, "Tout pour lui", "Rien n’est acquis", "Quand tu partiras", "Faut Laisser" among others. She has also collaborated with several artists including : Rhoff, Diziz la Peste, admiral T, Leck, Alban Bartoli etc.
